Round 39: Choose Your Own Path

This is a chain icon making with a bit of a twist.

Rules:
➡️ Anyone may participate. There are no sign-up posts or claims.
⬅️ You may submit a set of 5 to 20 icons. Half must be inspired by the theme. The rest are up to you, but you have the option of making the whole set inspired by the theme
➡️ Indicate in your post which 5-20 icons are inspired by the theme (if not all of them are).
⬅️ Post your icons in a new post. This may be in this community or in a public post in your own icon journal/community, but make a post in this community with a link to the post.
➡️ When posting, leave three icons outside the cut/link. The subject should be, "#39: [your username]".
⬅️ Please tag your post, "round: 39" and "user: [your username]". If you don't have a tag, I will take care of it.
➡️ All icons are due by 11:59pm CEST on June 30th.

Simple explanation of the theme - starting with your first icon, every next one must have an element from the previous one, and a new element. I think the examples show it best. In your set you have to make a minimal chain of 5 icons. You can make up to 4 chains with different themes, or one loooong chain of 20 icons if you want. The last theme is kind of free for all - you can mix and match all colors, crops, techniques and fandoms.

I love this theme! I hope I'll manage to do some icons!
Just a little question, we have to follow the themes you gave us (color, crop...) or we can mix and match them all like in "easy way out"? Because I was planning to do a long chain of icons, but I just wanted to be sure of what to do!

You can choose whatever style you like. You can do one long chain of mix and match or you can start with crops, and turn them into color, whatever speaks to you :)

Just wondering — I was starting some colour "changes" and wonder if it's Ok to go back to a colour eg, blue and then a few icons later come back to blue?

I don't see a problem, you can use the same subject more than once in your chain.
