Become a cinema buff, and inspire yourself by films to create your icons. As this round is based on movies you can also icon your favorite classics. Below you'll find examples, that for me (and a large part of the Internet) are examples of most prominent films that inspire new generations of directors. But of course you can freely use your own examples - just let us know which movies are your inspirations.

Color black is the main theme this month, but it have to be combined with different color(s). Black should be the most prominent element of your icon - especially combining it with white. Grayscale is allowed, but black must be clearly visible, and contrast must be high.

In December become a wine taster, or a sommelier if you wish, and put your iconning skills to the wine test. Get inspired by the 4 wine types and create a set of icons perfect for your blend. You can inspire yourself by the wine's characteristic (for eg. Sparkling wines are full of bubbles, so you can icon a character that has bubbly personality), colours of the wine or the shapes of the glasses the wine is served in. In your entry let us know which wine inspired your icons.

Play the script writer and change your favorite shows and movies into something from a totally different genre. Make the comedy shows dark and gritty, or find a funny scene in your drama changing it to comedy. Set the new mood to your show by changing the colors, adding a dramatic lighting or crazy textures. Also there are many shows that already use this trick - travelling in time or making specially themed episodes - you can also use them.
