Round 33: Vogue

Fashion is everywhere, it surrounds us. We see it on the covers of magazines, in movies, music videos and tv shows. It can be an artful and inspiring part of our life, as well as our creative lives. So in December inspire yourself with fashion. Create icons with your favorite costumes, use fabric patterns as your backgrounds, even make them look like fashion photoshoots or magazine covers (or use the actual ones if you like). Just have fun with this one.

Rules:
👠 Anyone may participate. There are no sign-up posts or claims.
👠 You may submit a set of 10 or 20 icons. Half must be inspired by the theme. The rest are up to you, but you have the option of making the whole set inspired by the theme
👠 Indicate in your post which 5-20 icons are inspired by the theme.
👠 Post your icons in a new post. This may be in this community or in a public post in your own icon journal/community, but make a post in this community with a link to the post.
👠 When posting, leave three icons outside the cut/link. The subject should be, "#33: [your username]".
👠 Please tag your post, "round: 33" and "user: [your username]". If you don't have a tag, I will take care of it.
👠 All icons are due by 11:59pm EST on December 30th.

Oh, thanks for pointing that out, I didn't know this about her. I've never read any of her biographies, and the docu movies I've seen never mentioned it.

No problem. The company issued an official "apology" years ago but otherwise gloss over it now. A tremendous amount of fashion brands (and car brands) at the time worked with the Nazis but her lover was a high ranking German military intelligence officer and she actively ratted out the Jewish members of her board so she'd get their stock (and they'd either go on the run, selling all their worldly possessions to get out or went to Concentration camps.) It's a personal issue I have (not against you) that people gloss over/don't mention it when talking about her legacy/her life. So I do. ;)
